My name is Scott Bretl. I’m president of The Financial Self Reliance Group. I have been a practicing CPA for over 30 years. I also have 20 years’ experience in helping people plan their financial futures, using both the skills of my trade and my judgment. I love my work and look forward to each day so I can share my enthusiasm with my co-professionals and clients.

I am proud of the fact that our client base is one that has developed largely through referrals from existing clients. Nothing pleases me more than an introduction to a friend or family member of a long-standing client. Our clients like us because we bring them ideas and recommendations they can use to ensure a financially-secure future. And we recommend innovative solutions that professionals, individuals and business owners can implement to enhance their financial independence.  That is why we call ourselves The Financial Self Reliance Group.  Our clients come from all walks of life, but they have this in common, the desire to build financial self reliance.

This is true for me personally and I believe it to be true for my clients and friends. I married my high school sweetheart and feel blessed to have enjoyed over 30 years with Kris; we have three adult children and two lively dogs, all of whom keep us amused and entertained. They are the reason I do what I do and share what I know.
